Our Location
We are headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia and our reach extends further throughout Africa through strategic liaison partnerships in South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
Who we are
MESDA is a non-profit, community centred organisation established to advance sustainable social and economic development in Africa. Our goal is to solve the problems behind the problems and we seek to achieve this through the collaboration between civil society, government and the private sector to strengthen the autonomy and resilience of communities particularly the most marginalised members of society.

Law and Welfare (LaW)
Bridging the gap between traditional legislative frameworks and community welfare, making the law accessible and consumable for all.
Business and Human Rights (BHR)
Transforming the marketplace into a space where business operations are inseparable from human rights and environmental conservation, with the community as a respected stakeholder in investment projects.

Driving investment in Africa’s human capital, to cultivate a pipeline of effective leaders at every level in society.
